Furyk over Vijay.
Last big tourney at wingfoot,1997 PGA Championship , Furyk placed 6th while vijay finished 3 strokes worse, but to be honest still a respectable 13th . Furyk is number 4 in driving accuracy this year compared to Vijay who is 138. Both are about the same in putting this year. I also think that Furyks injury is getting way overplayed, as is the usual case if something is overhyped and people still keep laying wood it is usally too good to be true. I honestly think that Furyk will be the one up in the front this week. He is playing awesome golf and it is his chance to showcase. Also I took Vijay last week, so I am not anti-vijay I just think that he will have a shot or two that will cost him.
Justin Leonard over Kenny Perry
I actually like this one a little more, but I guess we will see. Leonard will be a very solid play here, we just need to wait for Perry to fade away. My guess is this one will be over by Friday. Remember who it was in 1997 going heads up with Love.
Maybe I am putting to much stock into 1997s tourney and acurate drivers, but hey that is why it is a gamble.
